Tree spading is a common method for moving and transplanting large trees from one site to another. The transport lock was developed as part of the Model 100 BIG JOHN Transplanter. The benefits of this revolutionary device are such that we decided to install them on the Model 80 and Model 90 truck mounted machines immediately. The “Lock” is designed to minimize movement of the machine while in transport. The reduction in movement results in a more stable machine as well as helping to reduce lift track fatigue. The “Lock” is easily activated from the operator control panel and promises to be another in the long line of product improvements that will benefit all of our customers.
